Take It To The Streets

While the galleries in South Beach were alive with art, the streets were far from asleep. With so much low brow and "street art" influencing mainstream media, it was nice to see it in its natural habitat.

Art from Primary Flight. This site was dedicated for artists to get down in the great outdoors; free to the public. For more pix of artists @ Primary Flight click here

There were even performance artists in full effect at Art Basel.

These were taken in a park adjacent to the SCOPE and BRIDE ART fairs. Abstracted takes on pictogram signs. Peep the FIELD of signage in the back.

Apparently this wall has monthly rotating art on it. This one is a classic.

Details from a mural on the side of the Aqua Wynwood exhibition.

WK Interact hits the streets of South Beach.

We found this lamborghini nicely hand customized outside of the Shore Club Hotel.

Another Shepard Fairey sighting.

We couldn't pass taking a pic of this.

Wheat pasted art on the side of a half pipe at one of Art Basel's satellite shows.
